UX/UI Designer based in Toronto, currently studying at OCAD University.
I care about starting from real user problems, not assumptions. That means mapping flows, testing ideas, and shaping interfaces that are clear and easy to use. I work end-to-end, collaborate closely with developers, and use AI and no-code tools to move fast without losing the craft.
Right now I'm freelancing as a web designer while completing my degree, and looking for my next product design opportunity.

Experience
Across products, teams, and clients
Across a product design internship and freelance web work, I've learned to turn ambiguous problems into shipped products, using AI to prototype fast and iterate on real feedback.
Scanatory — Text Archiving App
Explored how people want to save and revisit text snippets they capture day to day, then designed a lightweight archiving flow around that behavior.
Olav Svenson — Web Design Freelance
Took a freelance client from brief to launch: designed the visual direction, built the site, and shipped a working, deployed build without an engineering handoff.

Approach
Research first. Design that ships.
I start every project by understanding the actual problem, not the assumed one. That means talking to users and mapping how they move through a flow before I touch wireframes or UI. I stay close to developers throughout, because a design that never ships doesn't help anyone. It's also why I picked up no-code and AI-assisted tools: I'd rather build the real thing myself than wait on a handoff.
